What is an Au Pair?

Au Pair is a young person who comes to the UK for 2-12 months and in return for 25-35 hours of childcare – lives with a host family. Main three responsibilities of an Au Pair are: looking after children age 2+ years, light housework and evening babysitting.

Unique Placement process

Helping you select the right Au Pair for your family is at the heart of what we do. As part of our unique screening process:
  • We verify each candidates' Criminal Record Checks
  • We check all Character and Childcare References
  • Au Pair must provide Medical report confirming they are fit to take part in the programme
  • We personally perform an English Level Assessment interview
  • We require each candidate to undergo First Aid Training

How we work

Prime Au Pairs is a family-run business operating across the UK and Poland. Unlike other agencies, we oversee the whole process of recruiting Au Pairs and matching them with Host Families from the UK ourselves. We support our candidates throughout their stay in the UK and are here to provide any support needed.

Our Candidates

Our Au Pairs have good knowledge of English and will help not just with school runs, play times and after school activities – but also with preparing meals and light housework. Standard Au Pair works 25 hours a week with 2 evening babysitting. If you require some additional help - why not choose Au Pair Plus option: 30-35 hours week with 2/3 evening babysitting/week
